As you may have noticed I keep only two feeds on this blog: BBC International News and daily highlights from my favourite website – answers.com. Today’s feed from Answers featured a birthday. Theodor Geisel, more popularly known as Dr. Seuss, would have been 103 years old today. I find certain selections of his works some of the most fitting gifts to give or receive. They remain timeless and appropriate in content and fitting for any age. Perhaps one of the neatest opportunities one can have is to introduce a little one to a Seuss story for the first time. If you haven’t tried it I wholeheartedly recommend it.
Thus, a happy birthday message to Dr. Seuss. In light of this blog I will dare to suggest that he would favour being over having. Why not go and read some Seuss today and reintroduce yourself? 🙂 My favourite is Oh, The Places You’ll Go!
What is your favourite Dr. Seuss story?
